Young people are increasingly open minded about sexuality

What do Miley Cyrus and Gillian Anderson have in common? They have both previously identified as sexually fluid - neither gay nor straight.

It's a stance which young people are increasingly beginning to adopt, according to research from YouGov. The polling company asked 1,632 adults to rate their sexuality on the Kinsey scale of 0 to 6 - where 0 is completely heterosexual and 6 is completely homosexual. And each generation appear to see their sexuality as more and more fluid: Among people aged 18-24 only 46 per cent said they were totally heterosexual, compared to 72 per cent of general respondents.
