Wine condoms are now a thing, and no, it's not a pursuit of cabernet-sauvignon-flavoured sex acts.
The 'condoms' offered by Firebox are for rolling over the neck of the bottle, and stop 99.9 per cent of "unplanned wine spillages", apparently.

Crucially, they don't add any more height to the bottle, like a stopper does, and the 'condom' shrinks to fit the size of your bottle (don't get self-conscious now).
You can also use them on beer or spirit bottles and, like a condom, they roll up so are space-saving.
They even come in the traditional wrapper, and cost 12.99 for a box.

The makers, Firebox, also make wine handbags. We don't really know what to do with that information.

What a world.
