When McDonald's and creativity meet... haute cuisine ensues

Two burgers, two portions of fries, two competing friends and one strong dose of creativity.

Mix those ingredients together and the world's first haute cuisine Big Mac meal may well have just been created.

Reddit user Mark Hayes uploaded a set of pictures online after he and his friend attempted to make the fanciest possible meal from ingredients bought at McDonald's.

Mark went for the burger and fry stacks (above), while his friend attempted a deconstructed shepherd's pie.
