What happened when one man filled his CV with failures

Most right-minded people gloss over their failures when compiling a CV - but Jeff Scardino isn't most people.

The senior advertising executive sent out a résumé listing his biggest failures to 10 companies ("have difficulty remembering names, could be more punctual, didn't sell a few ideas") and got eight responses and five meeting requests. He also submitted applications with his actual CV - and got one response with zero requests.

One response to his 'failure' CV said: "When I read your cover letter, I thought it was a joke. But after looking at your résumé I'm really impressed with your honesty. I've never seen anything like this. I wish more people would send me a résumé like this."
