This girl got her Christmas wish early when her Dad's Instagram went very, very viral

Jill Young had one wish for Christmas.

It was simple and pure, and she tweeted it.

You can see why.

Her dad's well-travelled account has its gaze fixed upon the floor, capturing simultaneously sensational and lurid hotel carpets:

And lo and behold, with thousands of retweets and likes, the internet responded.

The account has seen amazing progress, as Jill noted on 28 November, three days following her first tweet:

His follower total has since risen to over 500,000.

Way to go internet.

This is partly due to the mainstream media writing articles on the account after her initial tweet went viral.

It has made them very happy.
