Um... that is not David Lammy

David Lammy has been MP for Tottenham since 2000, and last week he was elected with an increased majority of 23,500. But apparently his local paper doesn't know what he looks like.

The Tottenham & Wood Green Independent used a picture of Julius Maada Bio, who was briefly president of Sierra Leone in 2006 after a military coup, to illustrate a story about Lammy not standing for the Labour leadership.

For everyone's benefit, this is David Lammy, MP for Tottenham and a contender for Labour's nomination for London mayor.

And this is Julius Maada Bio, a politician from Sierra Leone who we're not even sure has ever been to Tottenham.
