Ukrainian soldier goes viral for lifting spirits with 'Pikachu dance' while gunfire rings out

A Ukrainian soldier is going viral for doing a 'Pikachu dance' to lift spirits while gunfire is heard ringing out on the battlefield around them.

In the clip shared by the Defence of Ukraine’s Twitter account, the camouflaged soldier is seen in the snow, doing the cheery dance made famous by the iconic yellow Pokemon character.

'Winter has never been an obstacle to a good mood', they wrote.

Many have been quick to praise the high mood of those fighting, despite being nine months into Putin's war.
