Mysterious 'War of the Worlds' object filmed falling to Earth during storm

A mysterious object captured on camera falling to earth has been likened to War of the Worlds, and has the internet scratching their heads on just what it could be.

Conner, 23, from Texas, took the footage during an electrical storm at night, when the strange encounter happened.

"I’ve never really recorded the skies or anything and that day of the storm I really felt the need to record," he said. "Best case scenario it was a meteor because I’ve never seen one! And worst-case scenario, an alien invasion."
