Two men in Australia have unveiled what they claim to be the world's oldest cheeseburger - and they are now trying to get it more Facebook likes than Kanye West.
Eduard Nitz and Casey Dean bought the quarter pounder for a friend from a McDonald's in Adelaide in 1995, according to Australia’s News Network. The friend never turned up, and they have kept it for the last twenty years.
Fast forward to 2015, and Nitz and Dean have set up a charity campaign hinged on getting the burger more Facebook page likes than Kanye West (14,154,709 million). The ancient fast food item has its own website, a Soundcloud with the burger’s official song Free the Burger, and merchandise page. All profits from these go to Beyond The Blue, a charity for those suffering with anxiety and depression.
