A woman took to TikTok to share her Amazon bargain of the century - a $20 blue velvet couch - and people are intrigued.

In the video, @itsdynah says, “Someone just posted a TikTok about this $20 couch and I don’t know who they are because I immediately exited TikTok and went to go buy it”.

“I ordered it, I have no idea what’s going to show up. I’ll keep you guys posted”, she added.

Although the Amazon listing has since been removed, the velvet couch hit the #1 New Release spot in the Sofa & Couches shopping category - all thanks to TikTok.

The listing didn’t lack detail, with the title of a ‘Sectional Sofa with Chaise Lounge, L-Shaped Couch for Living Room, Velvet Fabric, Metal Legs, Blue Couch” (103.5”X 52”X30.3”H).

Dynah said, “The dimensions look super legit, I don’t know what the catch is.”

The video - now at an impressive 5.5M views - has been flooded with thousands of comments from eager TikTok users and their theories on what the catch is.

One joked, “The catch is it’s a picture of the couch”

While another pointed out the odd delivery messaging, “It says it is sold and shipped by ‘lonely drunk’”

“It’s a baby doll couch”, one user predicted.

While it may seem too good to be true, another TikTok user, @lexibori, took to the app to share her shopping success:

“This kind of stuff can actually happen...

TikTokers are counting down the days to Dynah follow-up video on Thursday - the apparent date when the couch is due for delivery.

I guess we’re going to have to wait and see.
