TikTok singer goes viral with incredible R&B cover of Billie Eilish

A musician has gone viral for his incredible R&B cover of Billie Eilish’s song, Happier Than Ever.

Austin Sanders (@astnmusic) from Florida, USA has over 20 million views for his version of the song, which he posted on TikTok.

The video, posted on November 3, has an impressive 5.4 million likes, 172,000 shares and almost 100,000 likes in less than ten days.

The comments on Austin’s video compare the musician to the likes of Daniel Caesar and Frank Ocean, with one user commenting in all caps - “THIS IS BETTER I’M SORRY BILLIE”.

Other mainstream musicians, such as Charlie Puth and Max, have also shown love on the video – but, no word from Ms. Eilish herself as of yet.

The Happier Than Ever cover has also been duetted by other TikTok musicians, including @sinceressins who has 4.3 million views on her duet with Austin.

Austin also posted his rendition on Spotify, achieving over one million streams in just two days – an impressive feat for a relatively-new artist.

Austin has 800 thousand followers on TikTok and is known for his R&B covers of popular songs.

His previous remixes include Breaking Free from High School Musical, You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift and Still Into You by Paramore.

Another user passionately commented “release the full version right now or I’m calling the police”, so, Austin’s cover is available on all major streaming platforms.
