A woman has revealed some pretty savvy investigative skills after she spotted a subtle detail in a Snapchat photo, leading her to believe the man she was seeing was cheating on her.
Posting on TikTok, the woman, who uses the handle @kayla_paeth, shared a Snapchat pic the man had sent her of his cooking. So far, so fine.
But upon zooming in, she noticed a reflection the metal stove that appears to show a woman holding a phone wearing acrylic nails.
She wrote: “white acrylics, bracelets, rose gold Apple Watch, ring,” to list the warning signs as dramatic music played in the background.
Commenting on the video, which has been viewed over a million times, people thought her skills were top notch.
“HE [doesn’t] have enough burners on that stove. You dodged a bullet,” one commented.

Another person said: “[We’re] literally better than the FBI I swearrrrrrr. I hope you’re ok!”
A third added: “I’m always afraid I’ll get caught like this so I inspect all my pictures carefully.”
Others offered different explanations for the woman’s reflection.
“That could be a sister. cousin, aunt, mom, anything”, one commented.
“Maybe sister or friend!” another said.
But responding to the optimists, the woman made a clarification. She said: “He and his sister are African American so I could tell it wasn’t her lol & when I asked who it was he responded ‘should’ve been you’,”
Whoops.
