This is what the woman who got a tattoo of Nigel Farage has to say

You might have thought Ukip fever had died down since the party's failure to win more than one seat in last month's election, but one woman is doing her best to keep the party's spirits up.

Kerrie Webb from Derbyshire is such a devotee to Ukip leader Nigel Farage she has apparently got a tattoo of his face on her upper right arm.

Webb, who says she is the vice chair of Ukip Chesterfield, told i100.co.uk that she had been planning on getting a tat of Farage for a while.

I've spent a lot of my life being afraid of speaking and I've been bullied a lot. Seeing Nigel stand up to the constant barrage of bullying and the way he sticks to his word just inspires me to be a better person, to come out of my shell and fight for myself.

She weighed up a few different pictures before plumping for this one:

Webb told Breitbart that she was going to get the tattoo this week, and delivering on her promise, she took to social media yesterday to show off her new ink:

Webb added that the tattoo isn't quite finished yet and she might indeed add a quote from the dear leader or the Union Jack to complete the look.

She said that the design has already attracted some haters on Twitter but she is really happy with it. Farage's face is Webb's second tattoo - she also has Robert Smith of The Cure on her left arm.

Robert Smith's lyrics got me through some tough times. He represents my past. And Nigel is my hope for the future.

Nigel Farage told Breitbart he was stunned by his likeness appearing on Webb's arm.
