If the world were to unite tomorrow what would our flag look like?
That's a question Data Genetics endeavoured to find out, and this is what they came up with:
This is a version where the world's flags are merged with colours proportional to countries' land areas rather than population (Canada, Russia, Australia and Brazil's flags are clearly prominent).
A second version below merges them on population. You can clearly see elements of the flags of China, India and America.
