These are the worst baby names from last year

Thinking of a baby name is one of many challenges that a new parent will face.

In the last decade, traditional names have been overlooked more frequently for original or unconventional ones, with this trend hitting its peak in around 2012.

Some original names can be fantastic, others... less so. And while the decision to go unconventional seems to be on the decline, there are still some very strange choices in data supplied by the US department of Social Security.

Their baffling inspirations range from hydrogen-filled airships, to commonplace adjectives, to verbs describing absolute destruction.
