Flyers have been springing up for a September festival for straight white men in Goodale Park, Clintonville - and some people are decidedly unimpressed.

Same sex marriage advocate Michael Premo pointed out - quite fairly - that "this kind of thing implies there's some kind of struggle going on for being a straight white person in Ohio. Straight white people are doing just fine". Others were less concerned with local resident Cheralyn Elkins telling 10tv.com "if they want to do this, great — freedom of expression".

Intriguingly, the Washington Times notes it's not yet clear if the flyers are a joke - city authorities say they do not have a record of permit requests for the event.
