While most of us got through high school with passable grades and a few not-so-passable ones, three girls from Florida may have just invented a new tool to prevent date rape.
Victoria Roca, Susana Cappello, and Carolina Biagorri have invented a straw with two test strips that determine if a drink is drugged.
If it is, the strip turns blue.
Their prototype detects the most common date rape drugs, including Rohypnol and ketamine – and a patent is pending on their design.
