Someone has made a limerick out of algebra and it's beautifully clever

The following is a limerick, believe it or not.

Do you see it?

Let us elaborate:

A dozen, a gross, and a score
Plus three times the square root of four
Divided by seven
Plus five times eleven
Is nine squared and not a bit more

The rhyme scheme checks out, as does the maths - both sides totalling 81.

We loved it. And yes, we do realise the +0 is a little superfluous. Lighten up.

The poetic numberplay was brought to our attention on Twitter by Ans Hekkenberg, who expressed joy similar to ours.

We completely agree.
