Students in Perth celebrated finishing their final year of school by spraying graffiti on a wall... and spelling it wrong.

The Year 12 pupils started to spray the letters "LEAV" but then crossed them out and replaced it with "LEAEVRS 0216".

According toWA Today, the image appeared on a Facebook group called Perth - Have a Whinge and attracted plenty of comments including:

"Seriously though, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to blame autocorrect."

"I think there's a bit of tongue in cheek humour to this one."

Whether it was an act of comedy or just bad spelling - we're not sure their English teacher would be overly thrilled.
