Masculinity is a curious thing, so to help part the clouds of testosterone and posturing, the good folks of Reddit asked straight men: What is something you like to do that is considered feminine?

Here are some of the things men do that they think are feminine.

Because a nice house is nice:

I am unashamed to admit my love of scented candles.

Scented candles are NICE. In fact, having a "nice" apartment is just fucking awesome. Everything clean, some plants, scented candles, bit of nice chocolate. Ohhhh yes.

- EdgeOfProphecy

I own a home and I want the decor of the interior to be on point

Because it’s good to be comfortable:

Putting one hand on my hip.

- deveneightninee

Sit with my legs crossed, knee over knee. You see men do it all the time, especially in European and Asian cultures, yet all my life guy friends/family members say it looks feminine. They're missing out.

And clean:

Washing my face with not just water.

-TazDingoAye

I use conditioner like 1 month out of the year.

Because fruity drinks are tasty:

Fruity alcoholic drinks.

Don't get me wrong, 90% of the time I prefer Jack Dagnel's, or some other "hard" drink, but occasionally I'd like to drink a nice sweet fruity alcoholic beverage without getting bullshit comments.

Because Disney songs are universally great:

I probably have a higher-than-average number of Disney songs memorized (or close to it). I don't just mean stuff like "I'll Make a Man Out of You" either- if you ever need a bearded man to break out in "Reflection" or "Part of Your World", I'm your guy.

Because, well… sometimes there is no justification:

Pee sitting down when I wake up in the middle of the night.

Men. Don't think about what is masculine or feminine. Or what closed minded individuals may say. Do what makes you happy.
