If you’re vegan, it’s getting easier to find food you can eat on the menu.
Call it a fad, a lifestyle or the ‘woke’ dietary choice to protect animal rights and the environment, people who choose to vegan can get a lot of shtick for being self-righteous.
But a pub in Newcastle is putting a playful twist on its new vegan menu.
Brandling Villa has called the menu ‘Something for them vegan a***holes’
Cheeky.
The pub is known for its eccentric choices. Its kids' menu is called ‘Food for the little shites” and there’s also a burger called ‘Dirty thoughts of Cheryl Cole' with a pasty in it.
Its idea of afternoon tea is flying saucers, crisp sandwiches, potato smiles, turkey dinosaurs and a bottle of Broon in a teapot.
Solid, tbh.
