A woman called police terrified when she heard a noise in her house. But even they weren't expecting to find this

A woman in the north-western city of Bremen in Germany called the police after a ‘drilling’ sound in her home made her think someone was trying to break in.

On Monday night, two cars filled with police officers showed up in front of the woman’s building.

They entered her home but did not find an intruder, despite the fact that the drilling sound remained.

After further investigation, they found the source of the sound.

It was a sex toy.

Upon seeing the toy, the woman cried...

That's my vibrator!

...and was reportedly extremely relieved that there was no intruder in the house.

The police withdrew from the scene and posted a link on their website, requesting people not follow her example and outlining ways to protect against an actual burglar.

Police went up to the upper floor with the caller and localised the suspected intruder in the bathroom. It lay in the tub, vibrating uncontrollably.

We imagine that was some interesting paperwork.
