Journalist and television personality Piers Morgan is back at it again as he took another jab at tennis star Naomi Osaka.
On Friday, Morgan took to his Twitter to quote a post from Sports Center, showing Osaka lighting the cauldron and kicking off the 2021 Tokyo Olympics . He decided to berate her for her “desire for privacy.”
“I hope the world’s media will respect Naomi’s desire for privacy and not publish or broadcast these photos,” Morgan wrote.
People in the comments clapped back at Morgan, saying that he’s “bullying” her.
“How about you just let things go @piersmorgan instead of acting like a petulant child??!!! It’s got the Megan fascination written all over it,” someone wrote.
“Taking this too far, Morgan. She doesn’t mean any of these. Let her be please,” another added.
This wouldn’t be the first time Morgan has had choice words for Osaka.

Recently, Morgan and Fox News host Megyn Kelly fired shots at Osaka for appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Here’s what the duo had to say regarding her comfortability with the press.
ANOTHER magazine cover for brave inspiring Naomi! No wonder she had no time for beastly media press conferences! 🤣 https://t.co/ckrKodKBc5— Piers Morgan (@Piers Morgan) 1626718678

Osaka, who is the first Japanese-born player to win the grand slam and ranked No. 1 by the Women’s Tennis Association, decided to refrain from press engagements at the French Open.
Soon after, she withdrew from the French Open and Wimbledon to take care of her mental health.
In late May of this year, Osaka took to her Instagram to provide a statement detailing her “bouts of depression” since the US Open in 2018, which she felt was hard to cope with at times.
Earlier this month, Osaka penned a heartfelt essay called “It’s OK Not to be Ok” for TIME magazine that detailed her experiences and what she’s learned from the whole ordeal.
Naomi Osaka will participate in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, which begins on Friday, July 23, 2021, to Sunday, August 8, 2021.
