This optical illusion is blowing everyone's minds

Optical illusions - we know they're not real, but your eyes nevertheless will attempt to mess with your mind.

The 'cafe walls' is a classic of the genre.

In variations of this image, the horizontal lines crossing the image appear to be at an angle.

In fact, the lines are perfectly straight.

A version of this, created by Atlanta artist Victoria Skye has been shared repeatedly in recent days.

It was shared on Monday by hypnotist Martin S Taylor, and has since been shared over 7,000 times and liked by more than 12,000 accounts.
