A rather crudely shaped lamp has gone viral on social media and as you can guess, it’s for all the wrong reasons.
The lamp which has...how shall we say this...a phallic design requires the user to pull down a piece of material to illuminate the bulb. It’s quite something to behold...

Needless to say, the above tweet from @tyler_posting has gone viral and at the time of writing has already been viewed more than seven million times and reactions are understandably horrified.
Here are some of the more conservative responses.

In case you were wondering the lamp is very real and has been created by the anonymous artist known only as Monsby, who appears to be based in London. Oh and just in case you needed confirmation, the lamp which is called ‘Love in Light’ is supposed to look like that.
On their website, Monsby writes in regards to the lamp: “I had been working on this lamp for about a year. It had different names during that period: Phallamp, Lampenis etc. After all, the main idea of this lamp is not in the similarity with the penis, although, of course, it is funny. It is about love, light and life. The most meaningful and optimistic lamp ever.”
However, anyone wishing to purchase the lamp might wanna start saving now as it will set up back an eye-watering £3,500. It’s also available as an NFT if you’re into that sort of thing.
Personally, we think it looks a bit like Jeff Bezos’s rocket but the less said about that the better.
