New York police arrested Spider-Man, Elmo and two Iron Men within the space of 30 minutes this weekend - after pledging to rid Times Square of people in costumes asking tourists for money for pictures.
The New York Post reports that the arrests came after police handed out fliers to tourists telling them they did not have to pay for photos.
The four men were charged with disorderly conduct and 32-year-old William Suarez, who was dressed as Spider-Man, was also charged with aggressive panhandling (asking people for money).
