Brexit: Comedian Matt Lucas mocks Boris Johnson with hilarious impression

With Brexit descending further and further into a shambles, Boris Johnson decided to do his best Donald Trump impression and went on a Twitter rant.

It went as well as you would have expected for the former foreign secretary, as he claimed that what the people voted for would not be fulfilled.

Yet one of the best takedowns of Johnson came from comedian Matt Lucas (Little Britain, Shooting Stars) who performed a 'pitch-perfect' impression of Johnson.

Coughing and spluttering through his short statement, Lucas, as Johnson said:

I'm absolutely disgusted with Theresa May. I represent my constituents.

I voted to be leaving the EU. I voted to be leaving Brussels. I voted to be leaving the Union.

I voted to be leaving on a jet plane. I voted to be leaving Las Vegas with Sir Nicholas Cage. 

I didn't vote for a second referendum.

So instead we'll be having another vote tomorrow and another vote the next day and another vote the next day until we sort this bloody thing out once and for all.

Lucas's video soon went viral and at the time of writing has been viewed more than 100,000 times and, needless to say, people are loving it.
