Man with 278 penis piercings opens up about how they affect his sex life

The world record holder for the most body modifications has spoken out about how having 278 penis piercings affects his sex life.

German body mod enthusiast Rolf Buchholz has a total of 481 piercings, over half of which are on his genitals.

But how does having almost 300 piercings on his genitals affect the 61-year-old’s sex life? Not at all, apparently.

Speaking to the Daily Star he said if they were an issue, he would have got rid of them a long time ago.

What is an issue is travelling, however. Metal detectors in airports have a field day when Buchholz walks through them, and he claims he was even denied entry to the UAE because of his distinctive look.

According to Guinness World Records, he also has 35 implants, including “horns” and five magnetic implants in the fingertips on his right hand.

To complete his look, he underwent scarification and 90 per cent of his body is covered in tattoos.

Guinness World Records says that his tongue splitting counted towards his record - but his genital splitting did not.

Although it takes time to build up such an impressive array of body modifications, he didn’t start decorating his body until he was 40, when he got his first tattoo and piercing.

Despite all the piercings and implants, he revealed that his most painful modification was his palm tattoo.
