Kim Kardashian West's resolution for 2018 is one of the least Kim Kardashian things ever.
Yup, the social media star wants to use her phone less, which might come as a disappointment to her 105 million Instagram followers.
If she manages to stick to the resolution, that is.
To be fair, with Kim's third child well on the way, she might have less spare time to dedicate to screens in 2018 anyway.
According to the New York Post, Kim announced on her website:
My New Year's resolution is to be on my phone less and be more in the moment.
Though Kim built much of her fame through selfies and social media, the move is less unexpected than you might think.
She blamed her considerable social media presence for drawing the attention of the Paris robbers, and took a break from social media after the October 2016 attack.
On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim opened up about the robbery:
What I think happened now after, like, thinking about it so much is that there was probably a group of guys that were following us the entire trip.
I was Snapchatting that I was home and that everyone was going out.
So I think they knew [her bodyguard] was out with Kourtney, and that I was there by myself.
They had to have known we were leaving that day.
They had this window of opportunity and just went for it.Â
Here's to Kim living life in the moment - while the rest of us endlessly stare at our our phones to make sure we don't miss her sparsely shared selfies.
