This couple believe fish deserve more than a flush - and people are all for it.
It's tricky for fish to appreciate complex etiquette and symbolism of funerals, but Jeremy Milbern went for it anyway - and we're sure his fish would've appreciated the gesture.
Donning a black suit, the 25-year-old former Army recruit commemorated the lives of his recently departed pet fish, Tiffany and Tori.
Milbern even lit candles for the occasion.
Milbern told BuzzFeed:
Any time I find an opportunity to get a laugh and smile out of her, I make sure to capitalise on it.
