Introducing the world's most meta mugshot

This is 19-year-old Robert Burt posing for a one-of-a kind jail booking photo - in a T-shirt bearing the mugshot picture from when he was originally arrested. It's the world's most self-referential mugshot.

Burt of Maine, Pittsfield, was arrested for drink driving in June and ordered to spend 48 hours in jail from 8 August. He posted his unique mugshot on Facebook after getting out, as well as a picture of the original T-shirt (captioned 'Burt Family Reunion 8/8-8/10-2014: sponsored by Bud Light and Somerset County Sheriff').

According to Mr Burt, the authorities liked his T-shirt. He wrote on Facebook: "They laughed there [sic] asses off haha", adding it was "probably the best mugshot ever".
