In a LinkedIn post that has gone viral, an HSBC manager in the UK is promising to alter his work-life balance and try to inspire others to do the same after suffering a stress-related heart attack.
On Sunday, when Jonathan Frostick sat down to prepare for the week ahead at work, he suffered a heart attack that left him reexamining his life.
In the post, which has garnered 200,000 reactions on LinkedIn, Frostick said he wouldn’t spend “all day on Zoom anymore” and planned to reorganize his approach to work.
“I’m really not going to be putting up with any s*** at work ever again — life literally is too short,” he said, alongside a picture from his hospital bed following the heart attack,” he said.
