How many things do you need to plug in at any one time in any one room? Maybe...five, including a lamp and a TV?
For the owners of this house in Pinner on Rightmove, the answer looks more like, well, 40.
'The House With Too Many Sockets' is going viral for one reason only – it has 320 sockets, approximately. Plus, a very random selection of downlights which don't appear to follow any pattern at all.
That and it costs the better part of £1.5 million for the privilege.
Nobody can quite work out *why* either of these things are true, but it's blowing up on Twitter.
Thinking about just what someone might need with that many plugs has had everyone's imaginations running wild, but chances are someone just made a massive mistake at work.
Or it's all a big scheme to sell a very expensive home in Harrow, either way.
A spokesperson from the estate agents who are taking care of the house told Metro that there was, unfortunately, no clear reason why there were so many sockets in the house and it was merely the request of the homeowner when the house was refurbished.
We guess it'll just have to remain a mystery...
