Nothing says you have too much time on your hands like writing into a newspaper to correct them on your job title.
This makes sense if they called you 'Mizz' when in fact you spent years in medical school, or you've been referred to as a sheet metal worker when in fact you're a technician.
But this correction that appeared in theIrish Times measures up to none of these examples.
On Thursday a story concerning a Tokyo property connected to Ireland's Ambassador to Japan, Anne Barrington, also made reference to her husband Ed Miliano.
The article referred to him as a 'designer and illustrator', but the paper was forced to print a correction on this matter a week later.
It transpired that as well as not being a line of coffee pods marketed by Ed Miliband, Ed Miliano is not in fact a 'designer and illustrator'.
He is an 'artist'.
Now, wedon't dispute that there is a distinction, but we're just not sure it was worth someone contacting the corrections and clarifications department of the Irish Times.
