George Osborne says this Sun front page nearly made him spill his coffee

George Osborne has given his reaction to the front page of this morning's Sun newspaper which shows his head superimposed on to a man wearing hot pants and a pair of stilettos.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast on the day after the Budget, the chancellor said he "almost spilt his coffee" after seeing the play on the Money Supermarket advert but was nevertheless full of admiration for the Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid just seven weeks before the election...

I almost spilt my coffee this morning when I read the front page of The Sun.

What's great is that they have always got a way of bringing life to the Budget and it's the geniuses of The Sun who can come up with that front page.
