When vets delivered a baby monkey by C-section at Paignton Zoo in Devon on Monday, they weren't expecting to be bringing Voldemort, Harry Potter's arch nemesis, into the world.

The zoo were quick to jump to the monkey's defence:
The procedure was a first for the zoo. Ghislaine Sayers, head of veterinary services, told the Mirror:
We have only done three C-sections here in the last 16 years. Jo, our surgeon on this occasion, has performed them on dogs, cats, cows and sheep before – but never a primate.
The monkey, weighing 567g, lived in a mobile incubator and ate powdered baby milk until it could suckle on a bottle.
