Everyone is wearing the same coat, and this Instagram account proves it

Every girl knows that if you buy a statement coat from a highstreet shop, chances are you are going to run into a few people wearing it.

However, one coat from Zara has become so popular it caused a social media storm.

The blue and white £69.99 coat has been spotted on so many people that an Instagram account called That Coat has been set up and hundreds of people have been sharing their own sightings under the hashtag #thatcoat.

The founder of the Instagram account, Alice Frances said:

We kept seeing it, but it felt like no one was acknowledging that this unassuming Zara coat was slowly infiltrating the streets of London.

So we decided to document it on Instagram, and we started snapping it, and then friends started sending us photos of it, and then strangers did.
