This US cop looks a lot like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and people are stunned

A police officer in the United States has gone viral because of how much he looks like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Lieutenant Eric Fields is an officer with the Morgan County Patrol in Alabama and has been attracting attention due to his uncanny resemblance to the wrestler and famous actor.

A picture of Fields was shared on the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, where the officer was seen leaning against a police vehicle wearing a khaki shirt and vest, sunglasses and black trousers.

The post has been shared more than 2,000 times and received hundreds of comments from people making the same comparisons.

One person gave him the apt nickname: “Dwayne The Cop Johnson.”

Another person commented: “I have this sudden urge to go to that county and get arrested.”

The picture of Johnson’s doppelganger was also posted on TikTok and people couldn’t believe the likeness between the two men.

TikTok user @chandlerelyse_ lives in the area and posted the image in a clip.

She said: “We have a man who looks identical to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Like, people swear up and down it’s him.”

They displayed the image posted on the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office page and continued: “Look at him. You cannot tell me that is not Mr Dwayne.”

The officer has spoken about his new-found fame with Rick Karle from Alabama television station WVTM-TV.

Fields said: “I’ve been having fun with it. I’m a bit of a cross between The Rock and Vin Diesel. Remember, The Rock is six-foot-four, 260 pounds, and I’m only 6-foot-2, 230 pounds There is a big difference between the two of us.”
