Merriam-Webster's Twitter account is on fire.
The dictionary’s official account is like a masked vigilante - the hero Twitter deserves and the one it needs.
It has been known to wade into politics with on-the-nose Word of the Days.
Like when it roasted Kellyanne Conway for 'alternative facts':
And US President Donald Trump for 'unpresidented':
On Friday, Donald Trump failed to repeal the Affordable Care Act after House Republican leaders retracted legislation from consideration having failed to gather enough votes from within their own party.
Also on Friday, Merriam-Webster tweeted its Word of the Day.
'Nightmare'.
The shade is extraordinary...
The sass.
Srsly.
Ladies and gentlemen we present Merriam-Webster: the hero we didn't know we needed.
So do we.
