What colour is this dress? It's the question that has divided the nation.
In real life the dress is blue and black rather than gold and white, and any confusion in how it is perceived is due to innate differences in the way the human eye sees colour.
But this survey indicates those differences may not quite so big after all, with 74 per cent of 996 adults surveyed by YouGov and Buzzfeed on Friday saying the dress is blue and black.
The survey also shows that despite Ed Miliband proclaiming the dress is white and gold, only 14 per cent of Labour supporters agree with him.
And while the majority of people believe the dress is black and blue, younger people are more likely to think the dress is white and gold.
