There's an alternative episode of Friends that you really need to see

One Friends superfan decided to make an alternative ending to the beloved TV show. That's not really anything new.

But this episode actually kills off one of the Core Six.

Chandler, nobody's favourite, is killed in a car accident - and comes back as an annoying spirit to wreak havoc.

The video, which is just over 16 minutes long and is made up of clips from 125 episodes, already has over 750,000 views.

It's described as "a loving mashup offering an alternate ending to Friends that’s at once very bleak, but also existential, spooky and uplifting."

But it's basically the Friends version of Patrick Swayze classic Ghost.

The normal, iconic opening is interspersed with shots of Chandler running for cabs. You hear an ominous screech.

The credits slow, the music turns melancholic, and Chandler is missing from the sofa.

The Friends visit Chandler in hospital, but his heart flatlines...

Cue extended crying / mourning montage:

Monica inevitably becomes an alcoholic... and then a crack addict.

Meanwhile, Joey has a hard time adjusting to 'Joey and Ross' instead of 'Joey and Chandler'...

He even puts the moves on Monica, as Chandler watches from heaven.

After a bizarrely psychadelic electro-storm sequence, Chandler manages to come back!

(As the thing they thought they'd killed in Ghostbusters)

There's just one problem.

He keeps jumping in with his same-old Chandler quips - but everyone is ignoring him.

(So business as usual for Chandler.)

But this doesn't sit too well with Ghost-Chandler...

Ghost-Chandler is enraged.

It seems like everyone has moved on and forgotten him...especially as Monica and Joey are now officially A Thing.

Phoebe, of course, can sense his presence.

So she suggests a "cleansing ritual" to exorcise him from their home.

The infighting starts to get out of control.

So, the Friends decide they need 'closure'.

They have to bring him back to say goodbye.
