The Green Party announced on Friday that Caroline Lucas, in a job-share with former welfare spokesperson Jonathan Bartley, will be its leader for a second time.
Lucas, the MP for Brighton Pavilion, stood down as leader of the party in 2012 to be replaced by Natalie Bennett.
In her first policy commitment after assuming office, Lucas called for a second EU referendum so the public could confirm or reject the final Brexit package.
