People are confused by yet another baffling optical illusion on the internet.

The image was originally posted by Savannah Root on Facebook and has been shared nearly 6,000 times and liked by over 30,000, mostly because people can't work out what it is meant to be.

Savannah posted the image with the caption:

I stared at this picture for an hour trying to figure out what it was, once you figure it out comment below, please don't ruin it for anyone.

People's guesses ranged from "seaweed" to a "bird carrying a baby" to "a dead rat with wings hanging upside down" to "a penguin doing a pee and licking his lips".

Our initial best guess is that it was the contorted, screaming face of Sir Tim Berners-Lee.
