Britney Spears has revealed why she keeps posting topless photos on social media

Britney Spears has been posting a number of risqué images to Instagram recently - and her latest topless photo was accompanied by a lengthy caption explaining her reasons.

In it, she said she wanted to show the world that she hasn’t had cosmetic surgery, and wanted to shoot down rumours that she was pregnant. She also had an inspiring message about how she wishes to feel amidst her ongoing conservatorship drama.

The 39-year-old told her 33.3 million Instagram followers that she “didn’t get a boob job in just a week”, nor is she pregnant. She simply has “boobs in these pics” because she “devoured food.”

The ‘Gimme More’ singer shared a lengthy 440-word caption to accompany the photo to explain that her nakedness holds a much deeper sentiment than what meets the eye. “I was born into this world naked and I honestly feel like the weight of the world has been on my shoulders and it’s made me view myself that way”, she wrote.

“I wanted to see myself in a lighter way… naked… like the way I was born and to be looking back at my pictures when I shoot, it’s insane the psychology in seeing myself in my purest form gives evidence that pain … hurt … tears … and heavy burdens aren’t who I am.”

“I am a woman …. a beautiful … sensitive woman who needs to look at myself in my purest form!!!”

Spears said that she doesn’t plan on doing topless photos for the rest of her life because “that would get boring”, but she did admit it helped her to feel “enlightened.”

Spears highlighted how “f****ing funny” the comments were to her topless photos before paying homage to her fans, “There’s a way deeper meaning to the movement than you can ever imagine … my fans have always been so damn amazing and I love you all!!!!”

Fans and Spears herself had a lot to celebrate recently after her father agreed to step down as her conservator. The lengthy Instagram explanation comes after some fans speculated that the photos were posted without the singer’s consent.
