A new documentary has recently dropped on Netflix about the notorious Fyre festival which occurred in 2017 and is regarded as one of the biggest failures of the 21st century.
The film, named Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened shows how the disgraced entrepreneur Billy McFarland, who is currently serving six years in prison for fraud, sold the concept of a luxury festival in the Bahamas which he ultimately couldn't even remotely deliver on.
Along the way, he managed to convince the rapper Ja Rule to co-direct the festival with him, which resulted in hundreds of workers being left unpaid and others losing their life savings.
McFarland's ability to convince those around him and punters that they were buying into something that was the equivalent of paradise but was nothing more than a lie that he couldn't possibly deliver and ended up being something of a nightmare is reminding people of one thing.
That's right it's Brexit. Just think about it for a second.
Rich people selling a dream to the average Joe with a few viral posts on the internet, only for it to turn into a shambles and those culpable trying to avoid all responsibility whilst costing other a lot of money and stress.
It sounds very familiar, doesn't it?
What if it is actually Ja Rule and not Theresa May who has been in charge of those Brexit negotiations for the past two years?
Others are wondering which members of the Fyre team, best represent various elements of British politics.
The only question is 'when will Netflix make a Brexit documentary?'
