Barber moves cancer patient to tears as he shaves off own hair in incredible gesture

A barber moved a cancer patient to tears by shaving off his own hair in an incredible moment that has now gone viral.

Neftali Martín – who is also a barber – lost some of his hair after undergoing chemotherapy to treat his lymphoma cancer.

He went to get his head shaved by his friend and co-worker Joel Ortega González and set up a camera to capture the moment.

But, after cutting off all of Neftali’s hair, Joel suddenly turned the clippers on his own head and begins shaving off his own blonde locks.

Neftali was clearly shocked by his friend’s gesture and is seen on camera resting his face into his hand as he is overcome with emotion.

The clip, taken in the barbershop in Alicante, Spain where they both work, was later shared on social media and now has more than 10 million views on TikTok.

Sharing the clip, Neftali explained his friendship with Joel in more detail: “For those who do not know him @imjooeel is not just a co-worker, he is like a brother to me. I love you bro.”

The Lords and Barbers shop, where both Neftali and Joel work, also shared the video and said: “We want to travel this path with you, together as we have always been.

“We want to show you what true friendship is, because we are all one.

“For the moments that we have passed and those that we have left to live. What the barbershop unites, let no one separate it.”
