Who knew a selfie could cause this much fuss?
Alyssa Bordelon is a Twitter user from New Orleans in Louisiana.
She took a selfie in a dress prior to going out for a meal.
Twitter then started eating its own young in a howling escher-like pit of madness and despair, because her room had clearly not been cleaned in a while.
People noticed everything, including the floor marshmallows...
...the case of the missing shoe...
...and the rodent problem:
It makes your hoover-less few weeks look like nothing.
Alyssa has raised a good point that she shouldn't be abused for the state of her room, in a response to all the replies:
However, let's take this with a pinch of salt.
She's opportunistically set up a GoFundMe page, asking people to pay her to tidy her room.
She wrote:
Many of you have expressed concerns with the state of my apartment. I hear them. However, being an adult with adult expenses, it is sometimes difficult to find time to give attention to less pressing needs.
Inexplicably, it's made $65 so far and has yet to be taken down.
All in all, a messy bedroom and nothing else worth seeing here, move along people.
