Tyson Fury, who faces Dereck Chisora on Saturday night, says he had been doing “all kinds of extravagant things” in training, including running up and down the stairs with his uncle Peter on his back.
"This is the hardest I've ever worked to get off all that weight, absolutely," The 6ft 9in Fury said.
We've been doing all sorts of extravagant things. Peter has been having me carry him up the stairs every morning and every night as a training exercise.
He's had me run around the park with him on my back so it's been a harsh training camp. I've also been wrestling with my brothers and my cousin, a lot of wrestling, pushing and shoving - so a lot of exercises and I'm definitely ready.
Update: It looks like Fury's "extravagant" training technique paid off. He beat Dereck Chisora in 10 rounds at London's Excel Arena last night.
