Roger Federer gets completely outplayed by a young child

Roger Federer was taken right back to tennis school by a young child in an exhibition match in New York.

That's right, the 17-time grand slam champion, possibly the best tennis player of all time, was defeated in a rally against a pint-sized chancer wearing jeans and a hoodie midway through his BNP Paribas Showdown match against Grigor Dimitrov.

The Bulgarian, clearly finding his match against Federer far too easy, allowed the child to take his place between points at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.

After a six-shot rally, Federer approached the net, volleyed it back to the youngster and then watched in complete awe as a lob was spun over his head, landing perfectly just inside the baseline.
