Jake Paul wins Tyron Woodley rematch with a knockout – and divides the internet

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul won his second fight against mixed martial artist Tyron Woodley on Saturday, after he knocked out the former UFC champion in the sixth round.

Woodley demanded a rematch in August following Paul’s first victory by split-decision, with the athlete getting an “I love Jake Paul” tattoo on his finger to confirm the fight.

Paul had planned to take on Tommy Fury in the ring, but the Love Island star had to pull out on medical grounds, leaving Woodley to step in just two weeks ahead of the bout.

The ex-Disney Channel star remains undefeated with five professional wins, having previously taken on the likes of basketball player Nate Robinson, mixed martial artist Ben Askren and fellow content creator Ali Al-Fakhri (known online as AnEsonGib).

In typical Jake Paul style, he responded to the win on Twitter with just the words “bing bong”.

Many congratulated Paul on his victory, including past opponents like YouTuber Deji Olatunji:

Others, meanwhile, remained critical:

Then there were those who took the opportunity to make memes of Woodley:

Commenting on who he would like to take on next, Paul addressed UFC president Dana White and said: “I embarrassed your whole company. Please let me get Kamaru Usman, please let me get [Nate] Diaz, please let me get [Jorge] Masvidal, please let me get [Conor] McGregor, because I’m going to embarrass them too.

“I promise you that, Dana,” he said.
